A history built from person to person

Our story began with two companies—Contract Hardware and Evergreen Construction Specialties—that shared a common belief. When we united under a single brand, we chose the name Kinship to signify that belief—that relationships are the linchpin of our business. Jobs start and finish, companies change and grow, contracts are won and lost, but relationships are everything.

By bringing manufacturing, design, sales, and distribution under the same roof as installation and maintenance—phases of the commercial door purchase process that are often disconnected—we’re able to offer our customers quicker project turnarounds, aggregated staff expertise, and stronger relationships.
